Um, so once we have scheduled a roofing job for our roofers, uh, what we do is call the customer, let them know we’re coming out. Um, let ’em know what time and usually the customer says, okay fam, there’ll be, there’ll be waiting for them. It’s is a gutter job. Um, usually if there is a couple of jobs lined up for that day, um, I do let the customer know that they are on the schedule for that day. I’m not sure what time because there are other jobs scheduled for the that day as well. Um, usually the customer’s fine with that. They say, you know, we’ll sing on one week when it gets here. Um, also if we are doing Saturday, we do, um, actually we do not have our siding and all the accessories delivered to the job. Uh, sat in career actually. We’ll go pick those up at our supplier and then they will go to the job. But we also let the customer know that we will be there as well. Um, here at Allen home permit roofing local briefing, I’m also here. What I do is I make sure that my sales team has the information that they need when going to meet with potential customers.

Also showing that we are a fully insured so that I make sure I have that information all together for our sales team. I make sure that the supply, the samples are stocked up so when they come in they can take the samples that they need. Um, I make sure that if they are selling a gutter guard job that we have the gutter guard brochures available to them to make sure, uh, that they, so they can show the customer.

I also, uh, go through, make sure we have enough supplies, um, make sure we’re not running low on our samples. Uh, that way if we are, I can order more and get more, uh, on their way to us. That way we’re not completely out and going crazy because we can’t show customers samples. That’s one thing you don’t want to do. So I make sure that we have every type of sample that we need, even if we’re not that low on a sample. Um, if I have to put an order in, I will double check everything. If it’s, if we’re good, but you know, it don’t look like we’d be lasting too much longer on it, you know, that sort of thing. I will go ahead and order some just so I know that we have the, um, materials or the, or the samples here, uh, for my sales team to have available to them.

Now with the, um, gutter guards, when I ordered the gutter guards, they actually do come here to our shop. We do keep those here at the shop here at Allen home, premier roofing, Louisville Roofing. Um, we don’t keep all the shingles here. We don’t keep anything like that. Uh, we do have some bundles of shingles here and those are basically what we use for when we are going out doing a roof repairs. Um, sometimes we have the shingle here at the shop, sometimes we don’t. So, um, if we don’t, we’ll call our supplier and just, um, set a bundle of shingles out for us and then, uh, we’ll go pick them up and then go do the repair. Um, but usually, uh, we do have the shingles here. We do have some materials here at the shop. Um, just in case we do need for repairs.

It’s just kinda easier for us to have here. Um, but a lot of times we don’t, so we do have to go to our supplier, which is fine, but it’s actually easier for us to when ordering roofs and all that for not keeping the materials here at the shop. It’s easier for the supplier to deliver the materials to us on the jobs here at Allen home, premier Murphy, Louisville Roofing. So as you can see, um, I try to make everything as easy as possible for my guys. I’m here at Alanon permit roofing, global roofing. That way they have everything, um, that they need right at their fingertips and they don’t have to go around the office searching for everything because I know exactly where everything is. That’s why I order everything cause I know, um, where I store everything and it’s just easier for me to do it instead of, um, like telling someone else to do it.

It’s just easier on my part since I do know where everything is and I know what we have here and I know what we need. It’s just one thing that I do here. Uh, usually when we get a call for someone needing an estimate, they ask if they could go ahead and schedule it. Um, and cause I don’t do it because I don’t know their schedules. Uh, and then usually the customer will say, okay, that’s fine. Um, sometimes the customer will let me know if they don’t recognize the number they will not answer.

So if um, my gas can just leave a message, then they would return their call back out, which I totally get. Um, cause honestly if I don’t know a number on my phone I don’t even sort it as well. So I understand where the customers come in from on that.
